Why She Stayed at MAP
I initially started my work with MAP because I needed money but stayed because of what I learned.

I love going to the speaker series and other field trips because I get to know more about what people are trying to do to help the community and also influence the world.

What He Saves For
Working at MAP gave me the opportunity to save up my money for my trip back to my home country. I always want to visit my family back home and brag about how wonderful America is.
Who We Are
The Massachusetts Avenue Project began as a food access-focused nonprofit built to address concerns of Youth Empowerment and unemployment throughout Buffalo's West Side. As we've grown in our capacity and expanded our mission, that core focus remains. We have addressed these Youth unemployment concerns in conjunction with over 650 high schoolers since creating our Job Leadership Training Youth program in 2003, at our urban farm,
and that impact continues to be our proudest accomplishment. We have
crafted award-winning youth programming that emphasizes the capabilities and potential that Youth have.
