MAP Hires 15 Youth Workers

Last month, MAP hired fifteen youth employees to work on our urban farm, participate in communications and marketing, and develop Growing Green Works value-added products.

On September 25, MAP hosted a general meeting for high school students to work in 2013-14 school year program. Over 20 high school students applied to work for MAP, but only 15 were to be hired.

The applicants were interviewed by MAP staff during the week of September 30 to October 5. Then the youth workers had their first big group meeting on October 16.  Following that meeting, they can now be found working on the farm and at the office, after school and on weekends.
