MAP Youth Khadijah Wins 100% Recognition

Khadijah was awarded this honor from the 100% campaign for her leadership work with Massachusetts Avenue Project, Community Health Workers Network of WNY, and with the Buffalo Public Schools through HYPE-Buffalo (formerly the Youth Advisors Council).  Khadijah has been able to achieve all of her success while being a huge help to her family at home and in addition to graduating from high school early, as a junior!

MAP is so proud to celebrate Khadijah’s recognition with her and to have one of our own teen employees featured on a billboard!  Thank you to Rahwa of PUSH for nominating Khadijah for this cool award and to The Solutions Project for bringing their exciting  100% campaign to Buffalo!

We gathered at Khadijah’s school, but had no idea about the surprise.

Her family stood around her as the billboard was unveiled.
